It’s been a while since we’ve gotten notification from Mike Jones. While Mike Jones hasn’t dropped a collection in quite a while, Who Is Mike Jones? still had some ageless hits on it.
One of the greatest tunes that rang through the mid-2000’s was his single, “Still Tippin‘” including Slim Thug and Paul Wall and today, we celebrate the single during the current week’s TBT.
“Still Tippin” is one of the greatest tunes in Mike Jones inventory and the single was likewise the main significant Paul Wall highlight to surface. The tribute to cruising has a sleep inducing test from the South German Philharmonic Orchestra’s “William Tell Overture” with the snare comprising of an example from Slim Thug’s “I’m A Hoe (Freestyle).” It’s a messy south banger and certainly something you need knocking through your Thursday.
